Buttercup Bear Childminding


		Hello and Welcome! My name is Margaret. I am an Ofsted Registered childminder. I live in the Knowle area of South Bristol with my husband Ray. We have four daughters who have now all left home and three fantastic grandchildren, whom I have had the pleasure of minding for the last three years. It was looking after them that started me on my journey into childminding. I was graded Satisfactory by Ofsted in March 2010. I offer home-based childcare from birth using the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidelines. EYFS sets the standards for all childcare, nurseries, childminders and children of reception year. The main aim of EYFS is to help each child achieve the five Every Child Matters outcomes of: - To be healthy To stay safe To make a positive contribution To achieve economic well being Learning for the future Pets We have three Springer Spaniels and a Beagle. All of which have a wonderful temperament and are fantastic around children. The children can stroke the dogs through the fence, but they are kept in a separate area and do not interfere with my childminding activities. We also have a rabbit and guinea pig, which loved to be tickled by the children.
